The origins
Following tendencies and requests of their community members for more efficient salvation of economical questions, activation of business ideas, more intensive development of tourism and agriculture and their wishes to acquire new working positions, Gornja Radgona Community founded a public institution – The Gornja Radgona Business-development Agency. The agency takes care of consistent and successful development of all spheres.

The vision
The vision of the agency is to become the initiator and the pointer of all development activities, economical as well as non-economical, for Gornja Radgona community. Together with our community members we wish to create a pleasent living and working environment.

The mission
The mission of the Gornja Radgona Business-development Agency is determined by the next duties:
- following regional, national and international tenders,
- advising and preparing applications, helping with preparation and elaboration of documentation for the co-funding on national and international tenders regarding the needs of the agency and other interested parties,
- coordinating activities that concern forwarding social-economical development of the whole area, especially the fields of small scale economy, tourism, agriculture and community development,
- coordinating activities and elaborating local development strategies as well as active coordination by carrying out the wider regional development strategy,
- preparing development programs and bringing them into action,
- counselling and progressing conditions for innovative activities,
- cooperating in terms of connection of different conditions of research end development,
- counselig and professional help to subsistent and potential entrepreneurs,
- performing services for entrepreneurs (counselling and assuring various informations, helping with elaboration and exercising of development projects, helping and counselling concerning possible sources of funds, helping with preparation of documentation for acquisition of financial resources,…),
- organization and co organization of various arrangements, seminars and lectures.
